FAQs
Most biomedical/nutritional consulting services like ours are not covered by traditional health insurance, though some plans may reimburse portions of lab testing depending on your provider. We recommend checking directly with your insurance company about out-of-network reimbursement for functional lab work. Fullscript supplement discounts (35% off) are available to Monthly Plan clients regardless of insurance.
That's completely fine — many of our clients work with us alongside their existing medical care. We don't replace your child's pediatrician, psychiatrist, or other prescribing physicians, and we encourage open communication between all providers involved in your child's care. Any changes to medication should always be discussed with the prescribing doctor.
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy focuses on behavioral skill-building and is a distinct, evidence-based therapy type. Our approach is biomedical and nutritional — we look at gut health, nutritional deficiencies, and other physiological factors that may be contributing to symptoms. Many families use both approaches together, as they address different aspects of a child's needs.
Every child is different, and timelines vary based on individual testing results and protocols. Some families notice changes within the first few months of starting a personalized plan, while more complex cases may take longer. We don't guarantee specific outcomes, but we do provide regular check-ins so you can track your child's progress with us along the way.
We primarily work with children 6 and under, though we can treat children up to 16 depending on individual circumstances. Reach out and we can talk through whether our approach is a good fit for your child's age and needs.
